Bringing UK buyers to see Caribbean speciality products
IN March 2017 the British Caribbean Chamber of Commerce in association with the Trade and Export Agency of St Lucia (Tepa) organised a buyers’ visit to the Speciality Caribbean Exposition in St Lucia.
Delegates to the Expo included Simon Cunliffe-Lister, owner of Burton Agnes in Yorkshire, whose grandfather Willie Whitelaw was British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s Deputy during the 1980s. Other key visitors included Gizelle Fleischacker of Viking Foods and Duncan Hider, Managing Director of Hider Foods in Hull.
